Plug and Play (PnP) BIOS

A PLUG AND PLAY (PnP) BIOS has the capability to automatically find and install hardware if that hardware also has PnP features. The PnP BIOS can install legacy hardware (non-PnP) if the jumpered interrupts and I/O addressing are correctly reported to Windows 95 during that device's installation.
